Federal Aviation Administration Certified Pilot
In order to fly your drone under the FAA’s Small UAS Rule (Part 107), you must obtain a Remote Pilot Certificate from the FAA. This certificate demonstrates that you understand the regulations, operating requirements, and procedures for safely flying drones.

FEMA Certification
The FEMA certification programs are conducted in cooperation with the Emergency Management Institute (EMI). The first certification is the Professional Development Series (PDS). It is awarded upon completion of seven FEMA courses. These courses may be taken as independent study or in the classroom.
